MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> FEBRUARY 14, 2012 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on February 14, at 5:30 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Utility Office <br /> Manager Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered <br /> present; Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Chris Poole, and <br /> David Shetron. Also present were the City Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember <br /> Doug Matthews came in at 6:05 PM. Councilmember Paige Hubbard was absent. <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting. Councilmember Insell seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Insell moved to approve the prepared agenda as amended. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A) RECOGNIZE MR. JUSTIN BURGE FOR BEING "SANTA" IN THE ANNUAL <br /> CHRISTMAS PARADE FOR OVER 30 YEARS <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh recognized and presented Mr. Justin Burge with a Key to the <br /> City for being "Santa" in the annual Christmas Parade for over 30 years. The <br /> Mayor said Mr. Burge is involved in several civic clubs and is a true public <br /> servant. Mr. Burge thanked the council for the recognition and said he had <br /> planned on retiring from Santa after 25 years but after looking down on the faces <br />
