MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> APRIL 12, 2011 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on April 12, at 5:30 PM <br /> at the Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. <br /> Riley Caraway, a student from Batesville Jr. High gave the invocation. Lyon <br /> College students Diana Turnbo and T.J. Guajardo led the National Anthem. Upon <br /> roll call the following councilmembers answered present: David Shetron, Tommy <br /> Bryant, Margarett Henley, Paige Hubbard, Davy Insell, Fred Krug, Doug <br /> Matthews and Chris Poole. Also present were the Deputy City Clerk and the City <br /> Attorney. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Insell seconded. All voted for. <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to approve the prepared agenda. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Sheriff Steve Jeffery asked to quickly address the council before he had to <br /> leave to attend another meeting. The Sheriff said he did not have his March <br /> activity sheet ready for this meeting but would have it for the April 26th meeting. <br /> The Sheriff presented the Mayor with two donations checks for the new Westside <br /> Sub-station. The checks totaled $1,500.00. <br />
