MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 7, 2010 <br /> The Batesville City Council met in regular session on September 7, 2010 at 5:30 PM at <br /> the Municipal Building. Mayor Elumbaugh called the meeting to order. Councilmember Krug <br /> gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following council answered present; Fred Krug, Douglas <br /> Matthews, Matt McDonald, Richard O'Neal, David Shetron,Tommy Bryant, and Margarett <br /> Henley. Councilmember Davy Insell was absent for roll call, but came in later. Also present <br /> were the Deputy City Clerk and the City Attorney. <br /> Councilmember O'Neal moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. <br /> Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for. <br /> Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember <br /> McDonald seconded and all voted for. <br /> CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> A) THIRD READING OF AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF ALLEN STREET <br /> Councilmember Shetron moved to waive the rules and read the ordinance by title only. <br /> Councilmember Bryant seconded and the roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. Mr. <br /> Stalker read the ordinance by title only. The Mayor opened the floor for discussion. There <br /> being none, Councilmember Shetron made a motion to adopt. Councilmember Bryant <br /> seconded and the roll call count was 5 for(Matthews, O'Neal, Shetron, Bryant & Henley) 0 <br /> against and 2 abstaining (Krug & McDonald). The Ordinance passed and will take effect in <br /> 30 days. The Ordinance was given 2010-9-1. <br />
