<br />MINUTES OF COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 12, 2021 <br /> <br /> <br />The Batesville City Council met in regular session on January 12th, at 5:30 pm via <br />Zoom Meeting. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Utility Office Manager <br />Nick Baxter gave the invocation. Upon roll call, the following Councilmembers answered <br />present; Tommy Bryant, Scott Fredricks, Julie Hinkle, Paige Hubbard, Fred Krug, Doug <br />Matthews, Pete Musgrave and Chris Poole. Also present were the City Clerk Denise <br />Johnston and City Attorney Tim Meitzen. <br />Councilmember Bryant moved to approve the prepared agenda and Councilmember <br />Matthews seconded. All voted in favor. <br />CITIZENS COMMENTS <br /> None <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR <br />THE TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL <br />Councilmember Matthews introduced an ordinance to adopt the rules and procedures <br />for the transaction of business of the city council. Councilmember Matthews moved to <br />read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Poole seconded and the roll call vote <br />was 8 for and 0 against. City Attorney Tim Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. <br />Councilmember Matthews moved to further suspend the rules and waive the second <br />and third readings.
