The <br /> reading was the third and final reading. Councilmember McDonald moved to <br /> adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Terrell seconded. The roll call vote was <br /> 3 for (McDonald, Shetron and Krug) and 5 against (Pectol, Terrell, Carpenter, <br /> Insell and Matthews). The motion failed. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER PLACING LIENS ON CERTAIN <br /> PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BATESVILLE <br /> Mayor Elumbaugh, at 5:48 pm, opened the floor for a public hearing to <br /> consider placing liens on certain properties in the City of Batesville. Code <br /> Enforcement Officer Chad McClure called each address for consideration and <br /> there was no response from the audience.
