Ms. Margaret Henley gave the council a handout and spoke briefly about <br /> the Sonic issue. <br /> Ms. Brenda Wood also gave the council a handout regarding her recent <br /> wage discrepancy with the Water Utility. <br /> ROUTINE BUSINESS <br /> Councilmember Pectol moved to approve the minutes from the previous <br /> meeting and Councilmember Terrell seconded. All voted for. <br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> ***CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARINGS <br /> Mayor Biard opened the public hearing for condemnation for the following <br /> properties; 858 Neeley, 921 Elm, 1089 Grace, 445 Wilson, and 909 Oak Streets. <br /> Code Enforcement Officer showed pictures to the council of the first property at <br /> 858 Neeley. The property owner Karen Crawford was present as well as Kathy <br /> Crawford who is trying to buy the property. Karen Crawford said she did not <br /> know how long it would take for the purchase of the property to be complete <br /> because it is tied up in an estate. She said she could paint the outside and clean <br /> up the inside of the house. Councilmember Shetron moved to give the property <br /> owner 60 days to make noticeable improvements to the property. <br /> Councilmember Carpenter seconded and all voted for. <br /> The next property being considered for condemnation is located at 921 <br /> Elm Street. Mayor Biard said he has located the bank that he believe now owns <br /> the property. City Attorney Stalker said the condemnation process will need to <br /> start over with the notification of the bank. Councilmember Matthews moved to <br />
