If the existing assembly is moved, or requires more than the <br /> minimum maintenance or, the Approving Authority determines that the operation or <br /> maintenance of this assembly constitutes a hazard, the assembly shall be replaced by an <br /> approved backflow prevention assembly. <br /> Section 5 <br /> ASSEMBLY SPECIFICATIONS <br /> 5.0 GENERAL <br /> The following specifications for backflow prevention assemblies shall be utilized. <br /> 5.1 BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLIES <br /> Only those assemblies that are approved by BWU shall be used for backflow prevention in <br /> water service lines. <br /> A. Approved Assembly: Assemblies that have been tested and approved by the <br /> Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research at the <br /> University of Southern California and certified by the Arkansas Health Department <br /> (W are approved by BWU. <br /> B. The following information shall be distinctly marked on every RPZA, DCVA, <br /> DDCVA and DRPZA by cast in the metal, stamped in the metal, or stamped on a <br /> brass or stainless steel nameplate permanently affixed to the assembly: <br /> (1) name or trademark, <br /> (2) type (RPZA, DCVA), <br /> (3) size, <br /> (4) model number, <br /> (5) direction of flow (indicated by an arrow), <br /> (6) serial number, <br /> (7) maximum working water pressure, and <br /> (8) maximum water temperature for which designed (designate degree F or <br /> ® 18 <br />
