Eve ryRPZA, DCVA, and DRPZA shall be shipped from the manufacture <br /> completely assembled. <br /> Section 6 <br /> ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION AND INSPECTION <br /> 6.0 GENERAL <br /> Proper installation of backflow prevention assemblies is necessary to adequately protect <br /> the Water System from backflows. <br /> 6.1 AUTHORIZED INSTALLERS <br /> Installation of backflow prevention assemblies on water service lines shall be accomplished <br /> by personnel licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health. <br /> 6.2 PERMIT <br /> A. Consumers shall obtain a permit from the Approving Authority prior to beginning <br /> installation of assembly. <br /> B. A permit authorizes the use of the backflow prevention assembly and is necessary <br /> for continuing water service. Permits are non transferable and may be revoked if <br /> the consumer increases the degree of hazard or fails to adhere to the conditions of <br /> the permit. Adequate records and documentation are required for continued <br /> permit usage. <br /> C. Installation shall not begin without a permit issued by the Approving Authority. <br /> 6.3 INSTALLATION DETAIL <br /> A. Assembly Installation <br /> A backflow prevention assembly shall be installed in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's instructions. <br /> (1) An assembly shall be installed on the owner's side of the water meter prior <br /> to first outlet. <br /> ® 19 <br />
