the property is for sale and welcomes input from the citizens regarding the <br /> property. <br /> PROPERTY AT 20TH AND MAPLE STREETS <br /> Mayor Baird said he was notified last week that Mr. Ballard, the owner of <br /> the burned house at 20th & Maple Streets, was putting siding on the house. The <br /> Mayor said the new siding was being placed over the burned siding. The council <br /> looked at pictures of the property before the siding was put on and after the <br /> siding was put on. Mr. Ballard said he just received a settlement from his <br /> insurance company. Mr. McClure said since the property has been condemned, <br /> the council would have to give an extension to Mr. Ballard in order to issue a <br /> building permit. Councilmember Cargill moved to give Mr. Ballard an extension <br /> of 30 days to bring the house up to code. Councilmember Insell seconded and <br /> all voted for. <br /> RESOLUTION: 2000 PARTY PRIMARIES <br /> Mayor Biard read a resolution that would enable candidates in the City of <br /> Batesville to run in a party primary for the 2000 election. Councilmember Cargill <br /> moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember Pectol seconded. All voted <br /> for except Councilmember Insell. The resolution was given #99-11-1. <br /> MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Biard said an Interlocal Agreement Meeting has been scheduled for <br /> November 23, at 10:00 A.M. at City Hall. <br /> A.D.A.
