City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his monthly report. Mr. <br />Johnson said the bids for the White Drive water line replacement have been opened <br />and he will have a recommendation for the next council meet ing. He said he is still <br />working on and preparing for the painting of the Eagle Mountain water tank. He has <br />estimated it will take approximately 6 months to complete the project. Other ongoing <br />projects are progressing as expected. <br />C) RECOGNIZING NATIONAL SAFE DIGGING MONTH AND HISTORIC <br />PRESERVATION MONTH <br />Mayor Elumbaugh read two proclamations to proclaim April, 2018 as Safe Digging <br />Month and May, 2018 as Historic Preservation month. <br />D) CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2015-06-01 AUTHORIZING A <br />REVISED REPAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE SALES AND USE TAX BOND, <br />SERIES 2015 <br />Councilmember Bryant introduced an ordinance to amend ordinance number 2015 -06- <br />01 to authorize a revised repayment schedule for the Series 2015 Sales and Use Tax <br />Bond. Councilmember Bryant moved to suspend the rules and read the ordinance by <br />title only. Councilmember Matthews seconded and the electronic vote was 7 for and 0 <br />against. Mr. Meitzen read the ordinance by title only. Councilmember Bryant moved <br />to further suspend the rules and waive the second and third readings. Councilmember <br />Matthews seconded and the electronic vote was 7 for and 0 against. Councilmember <br />Bryant moved to adopt the ordinance and Councilmember Matthews seconded. The <br />electronic vote was 7 for and 0 against. The ordinance was given #2018-04-01. <br />E) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Councilmember Bryant moved to go into executive session and Councilmember <br />Henley seconded. All voted for.
