City Engineer Damon Johnson addressed the council with his engineer's report. <br /> Mr. Johnson said the repairs to the Water Treatment Plant are progressing with <br /> all the safety issues repaired and the work is now concentrated on the controls. <br /> The work at the Wastewater Treatment Plant is also progressing nicely. He said <br /> we were about 18 months away from starting up the new facility. Sludge is still <br /> being removed and because of the amount being removed this year, he said he <br /> has removed the expense line item out of next year's budget. Sewer line <br /> construction on Westside is progressing on schedule. Construction crews are <br /> also fixing random water leaks. Street Department is starting a new sidewalk <br /> rehab project. <br /> C) EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Councilmember Matthews moved to go into executive session. Councilmember <br /> Bryant seconded and all voted for. <br /> Upon returning from executive session, Councilmember Krug moved to re- <br /> appoint Ms. Gail Harley, Ms. Mayfan Thomas and Mr. Ron Autry to the Historic <br /> District Commission. Councilmember Matthews seconded and all voted for. All <br /> terms will expire 1/8/2016. <br /> D) PAID BILLS REPORT <br /> The council was given a copy of the November, 2012 paid bills report for review. <br /> E) REVIEW OF 2011 AUDIT <br /> The council was given a copy of the 2011 Annual Audit for review. <br /> MAYOR COMMENTS <br />
